I messed up. It’s not much fun to write that but let’s go with it and see where we end up because don’t they say that admitting your problem is half the battle? I certainly hope so 😉
You’ll have heard me prattling on these past few weeks about the free party we’re having this month over at The Itchy Soul? And it’s culminating in a live party call on the 29th.
So far, so good, right?
Given that I need to email you the call-in details for the live party, I decided to put a quick and dirty landing page together: basic details, time & date, opt-in form. All good.
And some of the people reading this are doing so as a result of that little page. I can’t wait to party with you – it’s going to be fab!
But here’s where I messed up …
The Itchy Soul has always been about faith & business, both, holistic, working on the two as needed. Sometimes these emails have more of a business twist, other times I remind you of how much God loves you.
The two go together. There doesn’t need to be this distinction between your physical life and your spiritual life. Everything is spiritual.
But did the landing page for the party do a good job of communicating that?
Because two of our live weekly calls each month are with a guest business expert and because Stacy (my guest for the party call) is amazing at business strategy, I focussed more on business stuff on that page.
I had an email this morning from someone who was unsubscribing from the party because it wasn’t what they were expecting. They’d signed up on a page about business and here I was, sending an email that talked about God and stuff.
What’s that about?!?
So listen, I just want to offer my apologies. I did a hopeless job of properly communicating what we’re about at The Itchy Soul Faith & Business Playground and the party this month so if you’re here and you felt a bit confused too, that’s my fault, and I’m sorry.
The last thing I want is for anyone to be here under false pretences.
All the stuff on the landing page is true. We will be digging into group masterminds and the number one reason why they are critical to business success. We will be having lots of fab q&a and I would love you to bring your business questions, the things you’re stuck on, and Stacy and I will help you move forward.
All of that is true and always was.
It’s just that The Itchy Soul is more than just business – it’s faith & business. And for some people, that’s going to be a problem.
If that’s you, there’s a button at the end of every email marked ‘unsubscribe’ and you’ll probably want to click it. No hard feelings 🙂
However, if you’d love a place where you can finally have your business and faith play nice, you’re going to love what we have going on at The Itchy Soul Faith & Business Playground and I can not wait to show you around!
Just 8 days until our live party call. Exciting!
