It's time to fly!

Today's Holy Spirit Love Note:

Those times when things feel a bit pointless, when you feel like you’re talking to yourself and like what you’re doing makes no difference at all, remember that I am with you, always. And those feelings of discontent, they might be the enemy trying to give you a hard time, to stop you in your tracks - or it might be me, nudging you to pay attention.

How can you know? Ask me!

And remember that my words to you are love and kindness so if what you’re feeling is condemnation or criticism, that is not me. If you hear a whisper that you are pointless, worthless, that too is not me. You are everything to me, everything. And you have more value than all the gold in the entire universe!

Those times though when you simply feel restless, an aching for something more or a bit of like a caged animal, consider that those feelings could be a nudge from me. I am calling you by name, loving you into who I know you can be, who I created you to be all along. 

Sometimes that growth can feel like restlessness because of the gap between where you are right now and where I’m calling you to. You know, deep in your core, that you were born for so much more. And yes, sometimes life gets you down and you believe the lie that you’re “just” you. There is no “just” about it. You are a child of the King!

You have a royal identity, an inheritance that is very specifically yours, and I am calling you forwards and upwards. There is a plan and a purpose for your life and those times when you feel restless, that’s your spirit stretching, like a mighty eagle unfurling its wings. Ask me what you can do today to close the gap because it is time for you to fly!
