Pull back the curtains of your heart and let the light of my love flood in! You thought you knew love. You didn’t even realise that there are areas where you’re not letting my love in but as you pull the curtains wide, you’ll be astonished as you see more light, more love.
Yes, the curtains are a metaphor but what happens in the natural is a picture of what happens in the supernatural. Those curtains over your heart feel like protection, you draw them without really thinking about it, until one day you wonder why things don’t feel as light and as free as they once did. When that happens, it’s time to ask me to help you open the curtains wide again.
Yes, it can feel dazzling and even a little unsettling but you have nothing to fear from my love. My love, perfect love, dismantles all fear. It’s time to take me at my word and start living from a place of unconditional love, adored and treasured child of the King.
Bring me your disappointments, those times when you feel like I’ve let you down. Talk to me about your unfulfilled expectations, those things that you think should be already. I’m not afraid of your questions.
I don’t promise to give you the answers you want but I do promise to answer you. I want to help you see things from the perspective of heaven. When you let me show you today through my lens, it will change everything!
No, it won’t magically alter the specifics around you, I’m not a genie with a lamp and three wishes, but it will make all the difference in the world. And where you are today is not the end of the story.
